Great property with wonderful staff. Shoutout to the breakfast room attendant (Theresa I think) who was fantastic and so on top of things. She was so kind and even looked at the highway reports for us when we mentioned where we were headed and the weather was poor. It was a short stay as it was just a quick stop on the way but would absolutely stay again and recommend to others.

I had so many disappointments with BW all over that i do not use them anymore, ... Except BW in Lloydminster. One of the best hotels for the nightly price that i know of. Great staff, well maintained rooms and the breakfast is just phenomenal. They go out of their way to assist with requests. I recommend this hotel to everyone.

Probably the cleanest hotel Ive ever stayed in. Every thing worked, smelled good, and was clean. Quiet even with teams in the hotel and tons of food for breakfast. Highly recommend.

Nice stay, nice rooms, really good breakfast. Staff really friendly. Treadmill was not working in the fitness room, small inconvenience. Restaurants sharing the parking lot and other small stores near by making it convenient so you don't have to go far it you can't or don't want to. Would stay again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Meridian Hotel in Lloydminster and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I appreciated the warm hospitality right away. My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay—great bed, fast Wi-Fi, and a quiet atmosphere. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work, as everything was spotless and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. There was a great variety of hot and cold options, and everything was fresh and delicious. The breakfast attendants are super friendly and efficient. The location is perfect—conveniently situated close to shops, restaurants, and main roadways, yet still quiet and relaxing at night. Overall, I highly recommend this location for both business and leisure travel, it reflects being managed by a great leader. Great value, excellent service, and a truly comfortable stay. I’ll definitely be back!

I had an absolutely lovely three-night stay at this hotel and left wishing I could have extended my trip. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. Check-in was a breeze and genuinely warm – the front desk associate was so personable and even complimented my bracelet, which immediately put a smile on my face and set the tone for the entire visit. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully equipped. I loved having a kettle with tea/coffee supplies right in the room (a small thing that makes a huge difference!), a separate little living area with its own TV, plus a second TV by the bed – perfect for relaxing. The bathroom was well-stocked with good-quality shampoo, shower gel, and soap, and I appreciated the hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. There was even an ice machine conveniently located on my floor. Breakfast was a highlight – a proper hot buffet with plenty of options. As someone who follows a strict diet, I was thrilled to find choices that fit perfectly without feeling limited. I didn’t have a chance to use the pool or the exercise room, but those were also top notch. But the true star of the show is Teresa in the breakfast room. She is an absolute gem! Warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, she greeted everyone like old friends. Both mornings I watched her call regular guests by name, wish them safe travels, and even remember who was checking out that day with little comments like “You’re leaving us today, aren’t you? We’ll miss you!” Her energy and genuine kindness made every breakfast feel special. Teresa alone is worth coming back for. Clean rooms, comfortable layout, friendly staff, great breakfast, and Teresa’s magic – this hotel has it all. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend!

Among the Best Western properties I’ve stayed at, this location stands out primarily because of its second-floor skywalk access to the adjacent Service Centre. The sky access is located on the hotel’s second level, allowing guests to walk indoors directly into the Service Centre without stepping outside — a huge advantage, especially in winter. The facility includes two full-size ice hockey arenas, additional sports courts, and recreational areas, along with children’s play spaces. During our visit, a staff member mentioned that a farmer’s market would be taking place inside the Service Centre the following day. That level of community integration adds a unique dimension to the stay. While the rooms are clean and comfortable and the amenities such as the waterslide pool and 24-hour gym are solid, what truly differentiates this property is the seamless indoor connection to such a large and active recreational complex. Overall, the second-floor skywalk access gives this location a clear advantage over other Best Western hotels.

I was stopping for the evening while traveling and we had booked another hotel to stay in, however the hot tub was not in service. Quick scramble to find accommodations now! Long story short, from thr moment I walked through the door until we left, the staff were pleasant, helpful, respectful, and informative. The pool? Perfect. Location? Even better, and I can't imagine how helpful it would be if you were in town to use the rec center due to the fact ITS ATTACHED! But wait!! The rooms? Im telling you, the 10' ceilings are awesome. Made the last leg of the trip memorable for my family of 5. Great job
